Most countries had already recognized Belgium for years before the Netherlands did. I never even heard of 1839 as a starting date for Belgium until I took Netherlandish history in uni, in Belgium it’s always 1830/1831. Obviously. I was making a joke. Yup. Fairly certain that checks out. More like 30 years. I think stopping the Euro and starting the Nord could be a realistic scenario. It would be a sad day and not what I want but it could happen.

This is a cute t-shirt. It’s soft and seems to be good quality. It’s perfect for casual Fridays. My only semi-complaint is that it looks like more of a maroon than red in the picture, but it’s definitely red in person. (I even went back to my order to see if I got the wrong one and it is labeled as red). It’s fine as that is one of our school colors, but personally I would have liked maroon better like in the picture.
