Although Halloween 1 & 2 Daddy’s Girl I Used To Be His Angel Now He Is Mine I Miss You Dad Shirts both have classic tracks, Halloween III’s soundtrack is overall much stronger listen as an album. More varied in its tracks and nails the mood just as well as it’s predecessors. It SOUNDS like October. The Halloween II score takes everything the first one did and builds upon it, creating a thicker and richer soundscape. I feel like if you stacked the two against each other musically and had someone not familiar with the series objectively rank them, H2 would come out on top. I agree with you, however, I believe it’s worth pointing out that the majority of the H2 soundtrack is literally synths layered on top of H1’s score.
