I say “that’s the Mickey Mouse Easter Egg Happy Easter Official Perfect Shirt my guess” because it’s been one hell of a detour into Maya and rigging. Two years and change so far. And I just spat out the first few characters ready to try out this experiment. Probably shoulda used stock rigs. I’m being quite stubborn about the blender grease pencil method but yeah that’s pretty close. Do the whole scene in 3D, but in a chunky manner, drop it into harmony and roto in a more graphical style and fudge/cut frames as needed. It may come to exactly the blender grease pencil, so no need to close viable doors.
Mickey Mouse Easter Egg Happy Easter Official Perfect Shirt, Tank Top, V-neck, Sweatshirt And Hoodie
I second the Mickey Mouse Easter Egg Happy Easter Official Perfect Shirt. I’ve been told to “cheat to make it look right” by friends, teachers, and professionals alike. Never in a bad way though, it’s “cheating” as in “using tricks”. Also worth noting how 2D-inspired 3D animation styles often “break” the character models to achieve poses that would otherwise be impossible, like Into the Spiderverse, Hotel Transylvania. Or Dragon Ball Fighterz. The Peanuts Movie in particular is fascinating because the character’s faces and bodies morph completely from pose to pose to accurately match Charles Schultz’s drawings. That makes sense. On stage, cheating out means to make sure you’re angled towards the audience.
