Really all I did was use evaporated milk instead of sweetened condensed milk, and used Lakanto granulated in place of sugar. Came out fabulous, but I didn’t eat the crust which I was okay with. How is this bakery’s crust? I know this probably isn’t the correct answer as a diabetic but I’d rather a very small piece of a delicious genuine pumpkin pie once a year than a bigger piece of a keto pumpkin pie. Well, I don’t do it in the most conventional way – I honestly treat it somewhat like gauche, I just prefer watercolor’s translucent dreaminess! To get the style of this pumpkin, I use a wet on the dry method (wet brush dry paper), limiting the water to exactly what I need for the stroke – never leaving any (much, at least) extra water behind.

I use a Chicken Oo De Lally Oo De Lally Golly What A Day Shirt mixed media paper which helps with the ink not getting ruined by the water, but doesn’t allow for you to use a ton of water without major warping. Wet on wet style (like loose florals and more flowing organic watercolors) wouldn’t really work well on this paper.
