I like to make tiny little bunkers for myself along the surface every 300-500 squares or so. A Day Without Beer Is Like Just Kidding I Have No Idea Shirt. When I noticed meteors only ever landed between them, never on them, I checked the wiki to figure out why. Does that mean if I cover my world in chests separated by 99 squares, meteorites won’t fall anymore? just put a layer of dirt at the top of the world (i mean space). it will also stop falling stars I think. but you can still collect them from the bottom. But also you don’t have to incorporate a chest into a build or ruin it by just throwing it randomly around it. Yes, this is the best solution I can think of. In addition, to a wide variety of different chests and the option to paint them. You can make them blend in with the environment by making them look like machinery or something.

I agree! Though I personally frequently use Meteorite chests as well. A Day Without Beer Is Like Just Kidding I Have No Idea Shirt. The new golf chest can work too since it looks like a large metal sphere. Alternatively, can’t you place them deep underground somewhere as long as the X-axis is under the build? Or above in the sky, I guess if you’re doing something deep down I honestly don’t know, but I feel like I have read that a chest does prevent a certain amount of blocks to the sides of it, and all the way above and below. But I can’t say for sure… no idea what happens if you put chests on the whole map lol For future reference, line it with chests.. it will stop any meteorites from landing there. Every 15 or so blocks, place a chest. Although it doesn’t look the best, it will help. You can put them inside the build too, and hide them.

Maybe you could use this to your advantage. A Day Without Beer Is Like Just Kidding I Have No Idea Shirt. The familiar blue and white color scheme warped the space around them, but the comforting sight of safety was suddenly marred by a huge asteroid that drifted into the path of the massive vessel. Yet the Steadfast could not stop. The doomed ship performed its last function perfectly. Entering hyperspace and taking the asteroid with it on its final journey to the planet Terraria. Ooooh… That happened to me with my castle on 360, luckily it didn’t do as much damage as this but it still sucked! As soon as I had it cleaned up I went to the wiki and looked up the limit for meteorite and put it in the top left corner of my world, haven’t seen a meteor since.
